ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a mandamus to the District Collector, Ariyalur, the first respondent herein to consider the petitioner's appeal/representation dated 24.06.2022 within a stipulated time.

2. Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the pending appeal/representation before the District Collector, Ariyalur will be considered on merits, in the light of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.24640 of 2021 dated 18.11.2021 (Muthukumaran Murugesan v. The District Collector, Ariyalur and others), within four weeks time.

3. Recording the statement made by the learned State Government Pleader, we direct the District Collector, Ariyalur, the first respondent herein to consider and dispose of the appeal/representation of the petitioner dated 24.06.2022 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
