Respondent(s) PRAYER; The writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus direct the Respondents pay a sum of Rs. 1,08,41,180/- along with professional fee payable to the petitioner as per the representation dated 10.08.2022 with interest at the rate of per annum with payment of interest at the rate of 18percentage per annum till the date of realization, reckoning the delay based on the date of disposal of cases and raising of bills.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents pay a sum of Rs. 1,08,41,180/- along with professional fee payable to the petitioner as per the representation dated 10.08.2022 with interest at the rate of per annum with payment of interest at the rate of 18 percentage per annum till the date of realization, reckoning the delay based on the date of disposal of cases and raising of bills.

2. The petitioner was servicing as Law Officer for the respondents during the period from 27.07.2011 to 19.11.2021. However, the Government has not settled his the bills so far. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to settle all the eligible bills as per the G.O. to the petitioner within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 14-10-2025 rli
