ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent herein to register the petitioner's compliant dated 22.08.2022.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he has already given a complaint to CCB, EDF-3, Vepery, Chennai by alleging the occurrence of land grabbing and on which enquiry was conducted and based on which on 07.03.2022 proceedings have been issued by the Inspector of Police, CCB, EDF-III, Vepery, Chennai stating that the petitioner has to seek recourse only by giving a complaint to the concerned Commissioner of Police; in compliance of the same, the petitioner had also given a complaint to the Commissioner of Police, Tambaram and so far no action has been taken.

3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that on verification of records, no such complaint is available with the respondents and if the petitioner gives a copy of the compliant to the first respondent, the same will be taken up for consideration.

4. On perusal of the records, it is seen that the petitioner has filed a copy of the compliant sent by him to the Commissioner of Police on 22.08.2022 through Registered Post. However, it is stated by the learned Government Advocate that no such complaint has been received. Since the Government Advocate had undertaken that if a copy of the compliant is submitted to the first respondent it will be taken up for consideration, the petitioner shall produce a copy of the compliant which he had already sent to the first respondent for the purpose of taking further action and on receipt of the same, the first respondent shall do the needful in accordance with law.

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
