Vs 1 S.SARAVANAN [ RESPONDENTS ] 2 N.MURUGAN Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to stay all further proceedings pursuant to the decree and judgment dated 16/10/2015, made in MCOP NO. 1783/2013, on the file of MACT (Special Subordinate Court), Cuddalore (CMP.1454/2017) pending disposal of the above appeal.CMA.191/2017 Order : This petition coming on this day for hearing upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.K.VINOD FOR M/S.ELVEERA RAVINDRAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.RAMYA V.RAO FOR MR.A.N.VISWANATHA RAO, Advocate on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- In this miscellaneous petition, by order dated 13.02.2017, an order of interim stay was granted for a period of four weeks. Thereafter, the said interim order was not extended and the matter has been kept pending till now.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing on either side submitted that the parties are inclined to go for settlement and hence, the matter may be referred to the Lok Adalat.
