ORDER
The petitioner/accused in Crime No.09 of 2025 had filed this petition seeking a direction to complete the investigation and file a final report before the appropriate forum without further delay.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that in this case, investigation completed, charge sheet already filed before the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tiruvannamalai, and the case is yet to be taken on file. He further submitted that now circular issued directing, in all cases under Prevention of Corruption Act after May-2025, charge sheet to be filed before the Sessions Court. In this case, steps will be taken soon to get back the charge sheet or else ensure that the charge sheet is transmitted to the file of the Sessions Court. This process can be completed within a period of four weeks. Hence, sought some time. 2/4
3. In view of the same, all concerned are directed to ensure that the charge sheet is taken on file by the appropriate Court without further delay. This four weeks time is only an outer limit.
