ORDER

This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is filed seeking to extend the time to make the deposit of Rs.2,00,000/- to the credit of Crime No.812 of 2024 before the Learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur, as ordered by this Court in Crl.Mp.No.13865 of 2025 in Crl.Mp.No.9359 of 2025 in Crl.OP.No.897 of 2025 dated 28.07.2025.

2. This Court by order dated 28.01.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.897 of 2025 had granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner subject to certain conditions, including deposit of a total sum of Rs.6,00,000/- in three instalments. It is seen that the petitioner has complied with the first two instalments within the stipulated time.

3. The petitioner had earlier sought extension of time on two occasions, and this Court, taking note of the circumstances, granted extension. However, the petitioner has not complied with the condition within the extended time and has once again approached this Court seeking further extension.

4. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and taking into account that substantial compliance has already been made by depositing Rs.4,00,000/-, time is extended for a further period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order, to deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- to the credit of crime No.812 of 2024 before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered. 20-02-2026 JAI
