ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the case in Crime No.4 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 417, 420 and 506(i) of I.P.C. read with section 4 of TN Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 on the file of the First respondent.

2. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] appearing for the respondent on instructions submitted that investigation in the above crime number has been conducted and action has been dropped in the above case.

3. As the investigation has already been done and action has been dropped, quashing of the First Information Report does not arise.
