The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.07.2025, for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b) (ii)(B) of NDPS Act in Cr.No.206 of 2025, on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2. The petitioner was found in possession of 6.5 kgs of ganja.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner on the ground that out of eight accused persons, four accused were still absconding.

4. Considering the fact that some of the accused were yet to be secured, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition for bail stands dismissed for the present. 01.09.2025 Vv To 1.The District Munsif-Cum-Judicial Magistrate Court, 2/4
