O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks direction to the respondent police not to harass him since they frequently visited his house without proper authority and they have confiscated the mobile phone of his daughter without authority.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submits that the petitioner's family is involved in illicit arrack and online lottery. On information when police went to their house, the daughter of the petitioner threatened that she will commit suicide hence recorded the same fearing unwanted consequence, the police returned back without proceeding further. Suppressing those facts, the petitioner has filed this petition that the police is harassing him without any reason. 3.

This Court on hearing both sides finds that the petitioner in order to prevent the respondent police to discharge their duty, has adopted dubious design by intimidating the police who went to her house to enforce the law. The petition along with an affidavit contains false allegations and trying to get protective order by suppressing the truth and suggesting the 2/4

false. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. The 2nd respondent is directed to discharge their duty as per the law and act in accordance with law.
