O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the 1st respondent, Tamil Nadu State Information Commission at Chennai to dispose of Second Appeal registered as Pu.Ma.No.CP4585, within a fixed time frame.

2.In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been stated that owing to various reasons, which this Court need not enter into, the petitioner had given an application seeking information under the Right to Information Act, 2005. This application was filed on 07.07.2021. It had been stated that a reply had been forwarded on 30.9.2021. Whether the petitioner is entitled for the information or not are issues beyond the scope of this writ petition. The writ petition has been filed only seeking a direction that the 1st respondent should examine and dispose of the said application.

3.Today, the learned counsel for the 1st respondent had forwarded a copy of notice of enquiry, where it had been stated that the enquiry would commenced on 10.12.2024. The onus is now the petitioner and the contesting parties to appear before the 1st respondent and place their case before the 1st respondent. Let me given an outer time for eight weeks from 10.12.2024 to dispose of the Second Appeal registered as Pu.Ma.No.CP4585.
