This petition has been filed to grant the Special Leave to prefer an appeal against the order of acquittal passed by the learned XVIII Additional Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, made in S.C.No.54 of 2017, dated 05.08.2019. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. The petitioner is the victim/defacto complainant and there is categoric evidence with regard to three bullets being fixed by the accused and the victim having suffered injuries, the trial Court failed to take into consideration the evidence of the petitioner and acquitted the accused. Further, the accused was apprehended red handed with the gun on the spot and despite that, the trial court has acquitted the accused.

Heard the counsel and perused the materials on record. Leave granted.
