Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the matter has been amicably settled between both the parties and respondent herein has vacated the premises. Hence, the relief sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous and prayed for dismissal of this petition, as nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.
