Respondents Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to call for the entire records in J6 Thiruvanmiyur Police Station Crime No.336 of 2019 under Sections 448, 452, 323, 387 & 506(i) of IPC and pending investigation on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the proceedings insofar as they related to the petitioners.

When the matter came up for hearing today, the petitioners as well as the second respondent/defacto complainant are personally present before this Court and identified themselves. They also produced their identity proofs before this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners as well as the Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that pending proceedings in Crime No.336 of 2019 on the file of the 1st respondent, the second respondent/de-facto complainant and the petitioners have amicably settled the issue among themselves and the de-facto complainant has also filed a compromise affidavit dated 14.11.2019 stating that he has no objection if the proceedings in Crime No.336 of 2019 on the file of the 1st respondent is quashed.

4.Recording the statements made by the defacto complainant in the affidavit filed by him dated 14.11.2019, the entire proceedings in Crime No.336 of 2019 on the file of the 1st respondent is quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
