[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] Petitioner, who is the mother of the detenue Swetha, female, aged 18 years, D/o.Manjula, has filed the present petition seeking a direction to respondents to produce her daughter before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the detenue was studying I year B.Com at SRM College, Ramapuram, Chennai and used to go to College with her brother. While so, on 24.10.2019, she went missing. After searching the detenue with the relatives and friends, petitioner has filed a complaint before the second respondent on 26.10.2019.

4. Today, the detenue has been produced before this Court. On enquiry, she has stated that she went with one Dhanish Karim, stayed in his friend's house at Pondicherry for few days and upon knowing that the said Dhanish Karim is not a genuine person, she returned to his house and joined his mother. She has also stated that she is not in illegal custody. In the aforestated circumstance, nothing survives for further adjudication in the matter. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
