ORDER

This Suo Motu case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.)No.618 of 2025.

2. This case is registered for alleged offences under Sections 506(i), 323 and 448 of IPC. The defacto complainant is said to have died and his wife is present before the Court and submits that she does not want to proceed with the case any further. The occurrence is of the year 2019, already two of the accused have been acquitted after trial on merits. Insofar as the other two accused are concerned warrant is pending against them. Further continuation of the trial would impinge upon the right to a speedy trial of the accused. Further continuing with the case would serve no useful purpose. 3. Accordingly, STC.No.1461 of 2022 of Judicial Magistrate Court No.1, Dharmapuri Taluk, Dharmapuri stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer case is disposed of.

The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary. Further, the Court below is directed to dispatch the copy of this order to all concerned.
