PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus or any other direction in the nature of writ, to call for the records on the files of the 2nd respondent pertaining to its proceeding bearing No.Nil dated 25.10.2023 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to grant permission to the "Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi" to convene protest near the New Bus Stand, Perunthurai, Erode District on 06.11.2023 by considering the request of the petitioner dated 23.10.2023.

ORDER
The petitioner seeks permission to conduct a protest near the New Bus Stand, Perunthurai. Since the space sought to conduct protest, being a very strategic point of the town, the police has refused permission.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) further states that if the petitioner makes fresh application for conducting protest, in some other place and it will not cause hindrance to the public, the same will be considered.
3. Recording the same, the petitioner is directed to make fresh application mentioning different place and it will not cause any disturbance to the public for protest.
