O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ of Mandamus has been instituted for directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to issue hall ticket to the petitioner with Application No 2312009633 and Registration No.170 1001131, to the Main Written Examination for the post of Civil Judge in the Tamil Nadu State Judicial service to be held on 04.11.2023 and 05.11.2023 and permit the petitioner to write the examination.

2. Pursuant to the interim direction issued by this Court on 15.02.2024 in W.P.No.31705 of 2023, the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has furnished the results of the written examination in a sealed cover. The writ petitioner, K.Kadhar Jamal is a BCM (Male) candidate. In two papers of the written examination, the writ petitioner, K.Kadhar Jamal has secured lesser marks than the minimum marks prescribed for selection, i.e., in Paper II (Law Paper I) and Paper III (Law Paper-II). The minimum marks for BCM (Male) for getting pass marks in each paper is 35%. Since the minimum marks is 35%, the writ petitioner is not eligible for selection.

Thus, adjudication on other grounds would not arise at all. The sealed cover submitted by the 2nd respondent / Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has been returned to the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
