Prayer:Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Declaration, declaring Section 4(1-A)(a) introduced by the Tamilnadu Amendment Act- 27 of 1998 as amended by Tamilnadu Act -13 of 2003 by substituting Schedule III, Part I of the Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Taxation Act, 1974, as ultravires and violative to Article 226 of the Constitution of India in so far it amount to life tax in respect of petitioner's Light Motor Vehicle Car bearing Engine Nos.5499864 and BF44F80783 and Chassis Number Nos.LF50-1128441 and MAITA4BFC42G73928 respectively for the registration is concerned.
