ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the Sub Court, Alandur, Chennai to dispose of H.M.O.P.No.1927 of 2021 on the file of Sub Court, Alandur, Chennai within a stipulated period.
2. Since the relief claimed by the Revision Petitioner is only for a direction for speedy disposal, notice to the respondents is dispensed with. 1/4
3. The learned counsel for Revision Petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed a petition under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1956, for divorce before the Subordinate Judge, Alandur. The petitioner and the respondent are separated from each other for more than 5 years and the respondent had been dragging on the case for nearly about 2 years. Therefore, he wanted to direct the trial court to dispose of the case as early as possible.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances and also the fact that the respondent has been dragging the case for two years, this Court is inclined to direct the trial Judge to commence the trial and dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
