ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.K.Manokaran, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned State Government Pleader for respondent No.1 and Mr.A.Anandan, learned Government Advocate for respondent Nos.2 and 3.
2. It is submitted by the learned State Government Pleader that the appeal filed by the encroachers under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905, is also dismissed on 21.03.2024.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged encroachers have filed Special Leave Petition before the Apex Court challenging the order passed in the writ petition.
4. The order is in force. Considering the fact that the alleged encroachers have filed Special Leave Petition before the Apex Court, for a period of fifteen days, the order may not be implemented. However, after fifteen days, the respondents may proceed further if there are no prohibitory orders.
The Contempt Petition stands disposed of.
