sureties in the above proceeding before the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate Saidapet, Chennai.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed by the Principal Special Court under EC & NDPS Act Chennai in Crl M.P.No.3560 of 2022 that the petitioner shall execute a bond for Rs.10,000/-with two acceptable and reliable sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore Chennai and one among the sureties of each must be a government surety to the satisfaction of the learned II Metropolitan Magistrate Egmore chennai and the he shall execute the other sureties in the above proceeding before the learned IX Metropolitan Magistrate Saidapet, Chennai. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner could not produce the Government surety and seeks modification to the effect that instead of Government surety the petitioner may be permitted to furnish any other surety.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition imposed on the petitioner is hereby modified to the effect that the petitioner shall furnish two sureties out of which one must be a blood surety.
