This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the order of this Court dated 08.12.2022 made in W.P.No.33042 of 2022. 1/4

2. Today when the contempt petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has submitted that, as per the direction given by this Court, the application submitted by the petitioner dated 04.08.2022 having been considered by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Virudhachalam was disposed by passing a detailed order on 08.02.2024. In support of his contention, a copy of the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Virudhachalam dated 08.02.2024 also has been produced before this Court for perusal.

Since the application having been considered was disposed of and an order to that effect also has been passed, there could be no pursuasive action in this contempt petition, accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. 21.02.2024 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No vji 2/4
