Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider petitioner's application dated 24.06.2019 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to resurvey and subdivide the property comprised in Survey No.596/2B of Peruntholuvu Village, Tirupur Taluk and District. O R D E R

The petitioner herein claiming to be the owner of the land comprised in 596/2B measuring to an extent of 4.7 acres situated in Peruntholuvu Village, Tirupur Taluk has applied for surveying his land and subdivide the property and issuance of patta. Since his application dated 24.06.2019 has not been considered by the 2nd respondent, the present writ petition is filed.

2. The learned Government Advocate reports that the field was visited by the Surveyor along with the Tahsildar, but they were not able to measure the same in view of the standing crops and bushes around the land. Hence, the Tahsildar and Surveyor will measure the field within 45 days once the harvest of the land is over.

3. Recording the same, this writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to survey and subdivide the property and take appropriate action within 60 days from today. No costs.
