ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to give a necessary permission to conduct Kabadi Tournament at the playgrounds situated at Siruvalayam Village, Karnavoor Post, Ranipet District on 24th and 25th December, 2022 based on the petitioner's representation dated 10.11.2022.

When the matter is taken up, the learned Government Advocate (clr.side) for the respondents submitted that the petitioners gave a representation before the second respondent on 10.11.2022 for conducting Kabadi Tournament between 17.12.2022 and 18.12.2022. The Sub Inspector of Police, Nemali rejected the representation stating that there is an apprehension that some law and order problem may arise during the Kabadi Tournament.

3. In reply, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the Kabadi Tournament was not conducted on 10.11.2022. Therefore, there is no question of any law and order issue arose on that day and he seeks permission to conduct Kabadi Tournament on 24.12.2022 and 25.12.2022 at Siruvalayam Village, Karnavoor Post, Ranipet District.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the respondents.

Considering the rival submissions and that the petitioners seeks permission to conduct Kabadi Tournament on 24.12.2022 and 25.12.2022, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the second respondent. On such representation, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law. If permission is granted by the second respondent, necessary conditions may be imposed by following the guidelines in Rc.No.007301/Genl.I(1)/2019 dated 09.04.2019 for the smooth conduct of Kabadi Tournament. 3/4
