This Court by its order dated 09.11.2023 directed the second respondent to pass suitable orders with regard to the petitioner's document dated 21.10.2023 on or before 26.11.2023, failing which, the second respondent is directed to appear before this Court on 27.11.2023. Today, this matter is listed before this Court under the caption "for reporting compliance".
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the jurisdiction of the Registration Office is Konnur and the Ambattur Registration Office has no territorial jurisdiction to register the subject certificate, hence, they transferred the certificate to Konnur Registration Office. In this regard, they have not communicated the same either to the petitioner or to the Registrar where it was transferred. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to approach the Sub Registrar, Konnur and the Sub Registrar, Konnur is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and after
conducting enquiry, if the document is otherwise in order, register the same, or otherwise pass the order in accordance with law within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.The submission made by the learned Additional Advocate General is recorded and the attitude of the respondents are leading to file several writ petitions by the litigants. Now a days, the attitude of the Government officials are highly irresponsible and their attitude is reprehensible and therefore, the learned Additional Advocate General and Chief Secretary are directed to give instructions to the Government Officials and the Government Advocates not to drag the citizens unnecessary to the Court for simple grievances.
