O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed for an issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 4th respondent to include the petitioner's name in the panel notification for the year 2022-2023 for the post of Senior Revenue Inspector by giving retrospective effect by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 09.10.2024 within a stipulated time.

2. The brief facts of the case, as averred by the petitioner are as follows:- (i) The petitioner was appointed as Village Administrative Officer on 09.12.2015 and promoted as Senior Revenue Inspector in the year 2023 on temporary basis and in that year itself, the petitioner has been included in the list of Senior Revenue Inspector Panel. The 4th respondent vide proceedings dated 05.07.2024 issued notification and only two names alone were published and on the same day, another panel notification for the year 2024-2025 was published, wherein, 19 names were found place, in that panel, the petitioner's name has been appeared as Sl.No.14. The petitioner made written representation to the respondents 2 and 3 on 09.10.2024 and made request to consider the petitioner promotion for the post of Senior Revenue Inspector, but no order has been Page 2 / 5

passed, hence this petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice if the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.10.2024 within a stipulated time.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents seeks time to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.10.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 28.01.2025 Index : Yes / No;
