O R D E R

The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 303(2) of the BNS Act read with 21(1) TNMMDR Act, in Crime No.515 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, and therefore seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that, on 31.07.2025, the petitioner was found illegally transporting of river sand in Lorry bearing Registration Number AP 27 UB 7749. Hence, the case was registered.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent person and has been falsely implicated in this case.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) reiterated the prosecution case and vehemently opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the fact that a huge quantity of sand was being illegally transported, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail.
