ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction against the third respondent to register an FIR on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 02.12.2022 and investigate the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint against his son on the allegation that his son had stolen Rs.40,000/- and golden jewels kept in his Almirah and he is giving pressure to him to execute a settlement deed in respect of the property belonging to the petitioner; the petitioner is a senior citizen and no action has been take by the second respondent on the complaint given by the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner, CSR No.443 of 2022 has been assigned and enquiry is undertaken.

5. In view of the above, it is appropriate to direct the third respondent police to complete the enquiry within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and do the needful in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
