Respondents Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for their act of committing contempt of court, by disobeying the order of this Court in a batch of cases in C.M.P.No.20740 of 2023 in W.A.Nos.2342 of 2022, etc. batch, dated 27.09.2023.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.Rahul Balaji, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.S.Raman, learned senior counsel for the respondents/ contemnors.

2. The learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents/TANGEDCO, on instructions, submits that within three weeks from today, an order in compliance of the order passed by this

Court on 24.04.2023 read with the order dated 27.09.2023 shall be issued to the members of the petitioner-unit, subject to the decision of the Apex Court in the pending matter bearing Diary No.50558 of 2023.

3. The said statement is accepted as an undertaking. In view of that, the contempt petition is disposed of.
