ORDER
The writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned order passed by the respondents and also further seeking a direction to the
respondents to allot the plot and register the same deed in favour of the petitioner on Notional value.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner is in possession of the plot No.412 for more than 30 years. Therefore, the respondents passed a resolution on 05.04/477 dated 17.10.2016 for allotment of the said land to the petitioner by collecting the guideline value as on date. However, the respondent passed the present impugned order. Challenging the same, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is ready to make a payment for allotment of the plot as per the guideline value. The respondents have not issued a calculation and demand to the petitioner so far. Hence, this Court may direct the respondent to pass appropriate orders.
4. In view of the above, this Court without interferring with the impugned order, directs the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the respondents within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of the said representation, the respondents shall provide the calculation and demand of the plot as per the guideline value to the petitioner within a period of four weeks thereafter.
5. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 06-11-2025 rli Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes To 1.The Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Board Rep By Its Managing Director Kamaraj Salai Chennai 600 005 2.The Estate Officer Estate Officer III, The Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Board, Chennai 6500 040
