Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 30.09.2024 and cancel the patta No.1556, 1766 and joint patta No.1626 stand in the name of 3rd respondent and restore the petitioner's name in the patta No.379 and corrected entry in the land in Survey No.8/1C to an extent of 0.28 ares 1/6
situated at Murugapadi Village, Polur Taluk, Thiruvannmalai District. For Petitioner :

The petitioner would submit that the village revenue records for an extent of 0.28 aeres in S.No.8/1C stood in his name and in the chitta entry the petitioner's name has been mentioned. The patta also stands in his name, bearing Patta No.379. Thereafter, when the computer patta was issued for Patta No.379, the petitioner's father name was mentioned. It is then, the petitioner learned that Patta No.1556 was issued in favour of the 3rd respondent, who on the basis of fraudulent document had managed to obtain the patta.
2. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation to the 1st 2/6
respondent on 30.09.2024. Despite the receipt of the said representation, steps have not been taken to cancel the patta standing in the name of the 3rd respondent and restoring the name of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition for mandamus.
3. Considering the limited request, mandamus is issued to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner for cancelling the patta issued to the 3rd respondent, after giving due notice to the petitioner as well as the 3rd respondent and pass orders after giving them a personal hearing and an opportunity to submit their records. The 1st respondent shall pass a speaking orders, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
