The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of the NDPS Act in Crime No.127 of 2023, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.It is stated that on 07.10.2023, the petitioner was having black and red colour travel bags, and it was found that each bag weighing about 5 Kgs of Ganja totally 10 Kgs of Ganja, had been seized. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is an innocent person and there is no previous case against the petitioner. 4.Taking into consideration the large quantity of seizure, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
