ORDER
This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.The case was registered in Cr.No.1688 of 2020 for the alleged offences under Sections 294 (b), 323 and 506 (1) of I.P.C. The occurrence is said to have taken place on 17.12.2020. It is reported that the defactocomplainant is said to be from Rajasthan and could not be contacted and remains untraceable. The accused has been attending the case all along. The matter has been pending since 2020.
3.Considering the nature of the allegation, the antecedents of the accused and since the accused has been facing the case since 2020, any further continuation of the trial would impinge upon his right to a speedy trial of the accused and no useful purpose would be served. 4.Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.54 of 2022 of Judicial Magistrate Court No-I, Udumalpet, Udumalpet Taluk, Tiruppur, stands quashed. This Suo Motu Transfer Case is disposed of.

The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
