ORDER

The plaintiff in O.S.No.252 of 2004 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Ambattur is the revision petitioner herein. O.S.No.252 of 2004, had been filed by Arokiamary @ Valli w/o. P.Arokiasamy against three defendants namely, the Tahsildar, Ambattur, the Senior Division Personnel Officer, South Railways and the Managing Director, State Bank of India, seeking a declaration that she is the only legally wedded wife of P.Arokiasamy.

2.In the pleadings, it had been stated that on the death of P.Arokiasamy, when the plaintiff had approached the office of the defendant for family pension, she came to know that it had been granted to some other person. The plaintiff claimed that she was the only legally wedded wife of P.Arokiasamy.

3.However, other person for whom sanction was granted was one Shanthi. The said Shanthi had not been impleaded as a defendant in the suit. On 22.06.2016, the suit was dismissed for default. It had been

pending on that particular date for more than 3 1⁄2 years for carrying out an amendment.

4.Thereafter, the petitioner herein / plaintiff filed I.A.No.990 of 2004, seeking to restore the suit. That application came up for consideration before the District Munsif, Ambattur and by an order dated 06.09.2016, the said application was also dismissed. Questioning that particular order, the present Civil Revision Petition has been filed. 5.It is informed that the revision petitioner / plaintiff had unfortunately died and that nothing further survives for adjudication in the present Civil Revision Petition.

6.Recording the above statement, the Civil Revision Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
