ORDER

This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu.W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025. 2.The case was registered in Crime No.188 of 2022 for the alleged offences under Sections 279, 337 and 338 of the I.P.C. The accident occurred on 09.04.2022. The defacto-complainant is present. He submits that he has not even filed any claim petition. However, has no objection for the closing of the case. There is no previous or subsequent case against the accused. The matter has been pending since 2022.

3. When the matter was called, the accused was present before the Court and pleaded guilty.

4. Considering the nature of the offence, the fact that the accused has been facing the case for a long time and that he has now pleaded guilty, this Court is of the view that a penalty of fine of Rs.500/- for the offences under Sections 279, 337 and 338 of the I.P.C. shall be imposed. Suo Motu TR.No.8095 of 2025 shall be paid by the accused on the next date of hearing before the Trial Court. D.BHARATHA CHAKRAVARTHY, J.

5. Accordingly, the S.T.C.No.656 of 2022 of Judicial Magistrate Court No-I, Udumalpet, Udumalpet Taluk, Tiruppur, shall stands disposed of and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands allowed. It is made clear that the disposal of this case shall not, in any manner, affect any claim petition that may be filed in the future.

The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
