Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to grant the compensation to the petitioner for the land in survey No.62/5, admeasuring to an extent of 2.97 acres and survey No.46/1, admeasuring to an extent of 2 acres totally to an extent of 4.97 acres, survey No.23/3, to an extent of 2.47 acres and also to an extent of 2.22 acres in survey No.23/1A in Valayamadevi Village, Vridhachalam Taluk, Cuddalore District.

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant compensation with respect to the subject property which was taken over by the 4 th respondent under the Land Acquisition Act.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 22.10.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and convey the decision to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. 28.02.2025 gya Index : Yes/No 3/4
