Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant parole for two months to the petitioner's husband namely Selvaraj son of Thangavel, aged about 40 years, Convict Prisoner, confined at Central Prison, Coimbatore, for taking medical treatment and doing heart surgery in private hospital, Coimbatore.

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to grant parole for two months to the petitioner's husband viz., Selvaraj son of Thangavel, aged about 40 years, Convict Prisoner, confined at Central Prison, Coimbatore, for taking medical treatment and doing heart surgery in private hospital, Coimbatore.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the submissions and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
