The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 10.04.2022 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c) read with Section 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 & 29(i) of NDPS Act in Crime No.19 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with others accused were found in possession of 100 kgs of Ganja. Hence, the case.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioner has been suffering incarceration from 10.04.2022 onwards. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that, apart from this case, there is three previous case pending against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis 1/2

5. Considering the previous case pending against the petitioner and also considering that the contraband seized from the accused is commercial quantity, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
