ORDER
This petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the Court below to the extent of directing the petitioner to appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m., until further orders.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing on behalf of the respondent.
3. The petitioner has been arrayed as an accused in Crime No.24 of 2020 for offence under Sections 406 & 420 of IPC. The petitioner filed an anticipatory bail petition in C.M.P.No.5080 of 2021 and the petition was allowed by an order dated 31.03.2022 by imposing certain conditions.
4. The respondent filed an application in Crl.M.P.No.4216 of 2022 seeking cancellation of anticipatory bail granted in favour of the petitioner. This petition was disposed of by the Court below by an order dated 16.11.2022, dismissing the relief in so far as cancellation of bail is concerned but however the petitioner was directed to report before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. This portion of the order has been put to challenge in this Criminal Original petition.

5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the investigation is pending and that final report will be filed as expeditiously as possible.
6. Considering the fact that First Information Report was registered in the year 2020 and also of the fact that the petitioner had the advantage of an anticipatory bail granted in his favour, it will suffice if the direction issued by the Court below is modified to the extent, that the petitioner will appear before the respondent police as and when required during the course of the investigation.
