ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 1st Respondent to consider his representation dated 12.06.2024 seeking cancellation of patta No.1481 issued in favour of the 3rd Respondent pertaining to the land situated in Old Survey No.558/2, New Survey No.558/4, Polur Taluk, Vasanthapuram Village, now Ananthapuram Village, Thiruvannamalai District.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that 1.9.50 hectares of land has been in enjoyment of the petitioner's family for the past 40 years. However, patta for the above mentioned property was wrongly issued in the name of the 3rd Respondent by the 2nd Respondent. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner submitted a representation before the 1st Respondent seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of the 3rd Respondent and for issue of patta in the name of the petitioner. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the 2/5

Respondents would submit that the representation will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the 1st Respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2024 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after issuing notice to the petitioner and the 3rd Respondent.
