ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 3 rd respondent to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, based on the representation given to the respondents 1 to 3 dated 23.09.2024.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police and also perused the materials available on record.
3. Though notice served on the 4th respondent and his name also printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the 4th respondent.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the dispute is civil in nature and already a civil suit is pending between the parties. 2/4
5. Since the dispute is civil in nature, no police protection can be given.
6. Accordingly. this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
7. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out her remedy before the Civil Court.
