Respondents Prayer in both Writ Petitions: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the transfer counseling for the Secondary Grade Teachers on 20.11.2019 or any date thereafter for the year 20192020. C O M M O N O R D E R The prayer sought for in these Writ Petitions is to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the transfer counseling for the Secondary Grade Teachers on 20.11.2019 or any date thereafter for the year 2019-2020.

2. By consent of both the parties, these Writ Petitions have been taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. Since the issue in both the Writ Petitions are one and the same, this Court is passing a common order.

3. The case of the petitioners is that they were appointed as Secondary Grade Teacher in the year 2007 and 2004 respectively. On 03.06.2019, the petitioners were declared as surplus teacher and posted in the Anganwadi Centers attached in Maharajapuram School and Thirumeichur School respectively. It is the further case of the petitioners that vacancies arouse in the Schools of the same District and the petitioners made a representations to the respondents to transfer them to such Schools. However, till date the representations were not considered. Therefore, the present Writ Petitions are filed.

4. Mr.C.Munusamy, learned Special Government Pleader, would submit that already the representations made by the petitioners were considered and rejected and the copy of which will be communicated to them soon.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case that already the representations made by the petitioners were rejected, I do not find any reason to issue direction to the respondents to consider the representations made by the petitioners. Accordingly, the Writ Petitions are dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to work out their remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
