Respondent(s) PRAYER Writ petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation dated 18.02.2025, by granting the land measuring 4 acres and 34 cents in S.No. 148/ 31C, Melakottaiyur village, Vandalur Taluk, Chengalpattu district, in favour of the petitioner on a longterm lease basis, within a time frame fixed by this Honble court. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 18.02.2025. 2.The petitioner is running a school, where about thousand students are studying. The authorities have granted permission for building and have also recommended for issuance of patta. However, for granting a long lease of the

land in question, the petitioner needs necessary orders from the first respondent. A representation has been given to the first respondent and it appears that the authorities have, in principle, agreed to grant approval to the petitioner's institution.

3.Considering the fact that the petitioner's representation has been pending from 18.02.2025, the first & second respondents are directed to consider and pass orders on merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
