2. Mrs.S.Anitha, Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner being an agriculturist, he is cultivating his own agricultural lands by deriving irrigation facility through the canals from Ayyannaru River which is being maintained as the first level main irrigational channel. However, on encroachment of said water channel by some politically influenced people, the petitioner could not get sufficient irrigation facility from that channel due to which, the agricultural activities are being affected. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 15.11.2022 to the respondents seeking sufficient irrigation facilities to the petitioner's land. However, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2022 and pass orders on the same within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 24.09.2025 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.
6. In view of the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.11.2022 and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and any other interested parties.
