C.C.No.2262 of 2024 for an offence under Section 408, 411, 420, 201 of IPC and 66C, 66 r/w 43 of Information Technology (Amendment) Act 2008 r/w 120(B) of IPC pending on the file of the learned 11th Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai and quash the same as illegal and in continuance of the Criminal proceedings is ex-facie illegal and tantamount to abuse the process of law and cause harassment to the petitioner.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed challenging the charge sheet C.C.No.2262 of 2024 pending on the file of the learned XI Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai.

2. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that

the trial in C.C.No.2262 of 2024 has commenced and so far as the prosecution has examined LW1 to LW3.

3.In view of the above, since the trial has already commenced, the charge sheet and the entire proceedings cannot be quashed. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 03.02.2025 : Yes/No Speaking/non-speaking order shk To 1.XI Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai.
