Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary by the Third Respondent for determination of Wards in Town Panchayats for the Reservation to the persons belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes and Women in respect of the Kundrathur Town Panchayat and to quash the same and consequently direct the Respondents 1 to 4 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.01.2018 for appropriate delimitation of Wards of the Fifth Respondent.

The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Second Respondent, on instructions, states that having regard to the nature of grievance sought to be ventilated by the Petitioner in the Writ Petition, he could raise the same by way of objection before the concerned authority under Rule 8(d) of the Tamil Nadu Local Bodies Delimitation Regulation, 2017, within the prescribed time limit.

In view of the same, the learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to resort to that procedure and work out his remedies for necessary relief before the appropriate forum in the manner recognized by law. He has also made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded.

Accordingly, Writ Petition is withdrawn granting such liberty. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs.
