O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the third respondent to conclude the enquiry initiated by him in X/K/M/2/949/2024 dated 25.04.2024 and pass final orders, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondents 1 to 4, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that the property situated in survey Nos. 308/5, 314/3 & 317/2 in Panniyur Village, Nemili Taluk, Ranipet District was originally purchased by the petitioner's father Padmanaban under sale deed dated 10.10.1976 bearing document No.1412/1976 on the file of Sub Registrar, Kaveripakkam. The petitioner's father and mother are no more, as on date the petitioner and his siblings are original owners of this property. 2/5

Later, he came to know that the patta in the said property was transfered in favour of the sixth respondent, without any notice to the original pattadhar namely the father of the petitioner. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation before the third respondent seeking cancellation of patta issued in the name of the sixth respondent. Pursuant to the representation submitted by the petitioner, the third respondent initiated the enquiry in X/K/M/2/949/2024 dated 25.04.2024. Though the enquiy was initiated as early as April 2024, till date the third respondent has not passed any final orders. Therefor, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.S.J.Sathik Mohamed, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the enquiry initiated by the third respondent will be completed and final orders will be passed within a time frame fixed by this court.

5. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the third respondent to complete the enquiry initiated by him in his proceedings X/K/M/2/949/2024 dated 3/5

25.04.2024 and pass final orders, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as the respondents 5 and 6 and any other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
