This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2019 seeking to incorporate the correct and original official name of the petitioner, namely, Soundar, in the Birth Certificates of his sons issued by the second respondent bearing Registration Nos.1478/2008/01, 1818/2010/01 and 279/2012/01 respectively.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made a representation on 06.02.2019 to the respondents seeking rectify his name as 'Soundar' in the Birth Certificate of his sons instead of 'Chandru' and the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that pursuant to the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 06.02.2019, the same has been rectified. The copy of the same has also been produced before this Court. Hence, no further order is required to be passed in the Writ Petition.
