The petitioner has sought for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the Impugned Proceedings dated 28.04.2017 passed in Na.Ka.No.C.No. 45/F1PS/TPC/2017 on the file of the 3rd respondent herein, quash the same and consequently for a direction to the respondents herein to grant permission to convene demonstration as requested on 01.07.2017.

2. The petitioner states that there are two TASMAC shops located near the area was closed in order to augment the sales of liquor in the Club. As the members, who visit the club are causing nuisance to the public in an inebriated stage after consuming alcohol, there is no security for the women and other passers on the street. Hence, the petitioner wanted to stage a protest in front of the club and sought for permission from the third respondent herein, which was rejected on 28.04.2017 by the impugned order dated 28.04.2017 in Na.Ka.No.C.No.
45/F1PS/TPC/2017.
3. The learned Government Advocate states that the said club itself is closed and not functioning for the last one year.
4. Now the request itself is for conducting a protest on 30.04.2017 at 6.00 p.m. As the said date itself is now over, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous.
5. Recording the submissions of the learned counsel appearing on both sides, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
