ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent police to take further action on the complaint dated 24.10.2019 given by the petitioner.

2. Despite granting repeated adjournments, there is no representation for the petitioner.

On the other hand, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that in respect of the petitioner's complaint dated 24.10.2019, the second respondent police has conducted an enquiry in CSR No.899 of 2019 and subsequently, the same has been closed on 07.12.2019. According to him, as of now, no petition is pending on the file of the second respondent.

4. In view of the aforesaid submissions, and in the absence of any complaint on the file of the second respondent, this Court cannot pass any positive direction, as prayed for by the petitioner.

5. With the above observations, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
